Membership of Alliance for Rural Electrification

This month, Energise Africa is proud to have joined over 200 other impactful organisations as a member of the Alliance for Rural Electrification, the international business association for the integration of decentralised renewables into rural electrification markets in developing and emerging countries.

We are very excited to announce this membership of a powerful and proactive alliance that has been active since 2006 and shares the Energise Africa vision that by 2030 everyone in the world and in particular all rural people in low-and medium income countries should have access to affordable, secure and clean energy and energy services.

The Alliance for Rural Electrification is the global association for the decentralised renewable energy industry, catalysing private sector-driven markets for sustainable electricity services, creating jobs and powering equitable green economies.

As a member, Energise Africa will be able to collaborate with other member organisations to pool experience and offer new opportunities to help improve energy access globally and particularly in rural areas. Through ARE events and promotions, we will be able to reach a wider audience than ever before.
